Our menus offer the very best in fresh and seasonal products. Our head chef Alex Tyndall executes dishes with flair, whether it is a British classics like Wheeler’s fish pie— or one of Marco’s signature dishes, such as grilled Dover sole. While our menu is inspired by Wheeler’s heritage there are also a wide range of meat dishes ensuring there is something for everybody. All our beef is from the Duke of Buccleuch famers’ group and is carefully selected from the finest Scottish castle.
The long wooden bar, used as a counter when Threadneedles was a Victorian bank, is dedicated to the finest oysters and Champagnes, in addition to a distinctive gin selection, international wine list, expertly-mixed cocktails and not forgetting an array of beers, ciders and spirits.
Alongside freshly shucked oysters, you can also enjoy a light lunch or late dinner at Wheeler’s. Regularly changing dishes from the blackboard might include the likes of Fried Calamari & Shrimp, Superfood Salad or Hot Chicken Sandwich with stealth fries and tarragon mayonnaise.
